استقبل ا لرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي امس السيد “مامادي توريه” وزير خارجية جمهورية غينيا، وذلك بحضور السيد سامح شكري وزير الخارجية، وسفير غينيا بالقاهرة.

وصرح السفير بسام راضي، المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية، بأن السيد الرئيس طلب نقل تحياته إلى الرئيس “ألفا كوندي” رئيس جمهورية غينيا، مشيداً بالزخم المتنامي الذي تشهده العلاقات الثنائية منذ زيارة السيد الرئيس إلى كوناكري في أبريل الماضي، ومؤكداً سيادته التطلع لتعزيز العلاقات استثماراً للرصيد التاريخي الكبير بين البلدين. كما أشاد السيد الرئيس بانعقاد الدورة السادسة للجنة المشتركة خلال الفترة من 1 إلى 3 سبتمبر الجاري بالقاهرة، والتوقيع على عدد من الاتفاقات في مجالات الموارد المائية والكهرباء والنقل البحري والبيئة والآثار، مؤكداً سيادته أهمية انتظام دورية انعقاد اللجنة باعتبارها الآلية الأساسية لتعزيز مختلف أوجه التعاون والعلاقات السياسية والاقتصادية بين البلدين.
ومن جانبه، نقل وزير خارجية جمهورية غينيا تحيات الرئيس “ألفا كوندي” رئيس جمهورية غينيا إلى السيد الرئيس، ناقلاً رسالة شفهية من الرئيس “كوندي” تتمحور حول سبل تعزيز التعاون الثنائي بين البلدين في عدد من المجالات، فضلاً عن التشاور والتنسيق تجاه سبل القضايا الأفريقية ذات الاهتمام المشترك وجهود مكافحة الإرهاب.
كما أعرب وزير خارجية غينيا عن تقدير بلاده الكبير لمصر قيادة وشعباً، مشيداً بدور مصر الفاعل على الساحة الأفريقية في ضوء رئاستها للاتحاد الأفريقي خلال العام الجاري. وأعرب الوزير الغيني أيضاً عن ارتياحه لانعقاد اللجنة المشتركة، مشيراً إلى أن ذلك يعكس توافر الإرادة السياسية لدى الجانبين لتعزيز مختلف مجالات التعاون بين البلدين. وفي ذلك الإطار أشاد وزير خارجية غينيا بالدعم الذي تقدمه مصر لبلاده في مجال بناء القدرات، ونقل الخبرات في مختلف الجوانب الفنية من خلال البرامج التدريبية التي تنظمها الوكالة المصرية للشراكة من أجل التنمية في مجالات الدبلوماسية والأمن والدفاع والزراعة والصحة والإعلام.
وأضاف المتحدث الرسمي أن اللقاء شهد تناول التطورات المختلفة على الساحة الأفريقية، حيث أكد السيد الرئيس إن مصر تولي اهتماماً كبيراً لجهود صون السلم والأمن وتحقيق الاستقرار في القارة الأفريقية ككل، وتنخرط بفاعلية في تلك الجهود، سواء من خلال الحرص على المشاركة في غالبية بعثات الأمم المتحدة لحفظ السلام بالقارة، أو من خلال رئاستها الحالية للاتحاد الأفريقي.
كما تطرق اللقاء إلى الجهود المبذولة على صعيد تحقيق أولويات الرئاسة المصرية للاتحاد الأفريقي، والتي تنطلق من أجندة عمل الاتحاد الحالية وعلى رأسها تنفيذ الأهداف التنموية في مختلف المجالات المنصوص عليها في أجندة التنمية 2063، وكذلك التركيز على تنفيذ المشروعات القارية التي تمثل أولوية للدول الأفريقية وأهمها المتضمنة في برنامج تنمية البنية التحتية في أفريقيا. وأشار السيد الرئيس في هذا الصدد إلى أن مصر قامت بطرح تلك الأهداف خلال اجتماعات قمة مجموعة العشرين في اليابان، وقمة مجموعة السبع في فرنسا، فضلاً عن قمة التيكاد في اليابان، التي شاركت بهم مصر بصفتها رئيس الاتحاد الأفريقي
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Tuesday with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guinea, Mr. Mamady Touré.
President El Sisi commended the growing momentum in the two countries’ bilateral relations since his visit to Conakry last April. The President looked forward to strengthening relations, building on the historic bonds between the two countries. He also lauded the convening of the sixth round of the joint committee from September 1-3 in Cairo and the signing of a number of agreements in the areas of water resources, electricity, maritime transport, the environment and archeology. President El Sisi emphasized the importance of the periodic convening of the committee as it is the main mechanism to enhancing various aspects of cooperation as well as the political and economic relations between the two countries.
Mr. Touré conveyed the greetings of and a verbal message from President of Guinea Alpha Condé to President El Sisi, which focused on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between Egypt and Guinea in a range of areas. It also touched on ways to promote consultations and coordination between the two countries on African issues of mutual interest and on counter-terrorism efforts.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guinea expressed his country’s appreciation for Egypt’s leadership and people, and lauded its effective role in Africa, in light of its chairmanship of the African Union during the current year. He expressed relief for the convening of the joint committee, noting that it demonstrates the political will of both sides to strengthen various aspects of cooperation. Mr. Touré commended Egypt’s support for his country in the field of capacity-building and in the transfer of its expertise in the various technical aspects through training programs organized by the Egyptian Agency of Partnership for Development in the areas of diplomacy, security, defense, agriculture, health and in the media.
The meeting tackled developments in Africa. President El Sisi confirmed the interest Egypt places on efforts exerted to maintain peace and security and to achieve stability in the entire African continent. He added that Egypt is actively engaged in these efforts, either through its commitment to participating in most UN peacekeeping operations in the continent or through its current chairmanship of the African Union.
The talks also touched on efforts exerted to achieve the priorities of the Egyptian chairmanship of the African Union that emanate from the AU’s current working agenda, primarily the implementation of the development objectives in various areas as stipulated in Agenda 2063 for Africa’s development. This is in addition to focusing on the implementation of continental projects that represent a priority for African countries, particularly those included in the Program for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA). President El Sisi confirmed that Egypt has laid out these objectives during the G20 meetings in Japan, the G7 summit in France, and the Tokyo International Conference on African Development, TICAD7, in Japan, in which Egypt participated in its capacity as AU chair.
