في ضوء الإجراءات الاحترازية الخاصة ب#كوفيد_19 ولضمان استمرار دعم سبل المعيشة الذي تقدمه #هيئة_الأمم_المتحدة_للمرأة للنساء الوافدات والمصريات بالشراكة مع المجلس القومي للمرأة في إطار مشروع “التمكين الاقتصادي والتوعية للمرأة الوافدة والمرأة المصرية”، تم توزيع مواد إنتاج على 80 مستفيدة وذلك لدعمهن لإنتاج 100،000 كمامة و4،000 واقي اذن مصنوع من الكروشيه. تمت عملية التوزيع في 30 أغسطس 2020 من خلال فرع #المجلس_القومي_للمرأة في الجيزة. ولضمان حماية المستفيدات، سوف يعملن من منازلهن لمدة 15 يوم على تصنيع المنتجات المطلوبة وبعد ذلك سيسلمن منتجاتهن إلى وحدة إنتاج المشروع لكي يتم تعقيم المنتجات قبل توزيعها. يتم تنفيذ مشروع “التمكين الاقتصادي والتوعية للمرأة الوافدة والمرأة المصرية” بالشراكة مع المجلس القومي للمرأة والمفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين وبدعم من حكومة اليابان.

In light of #COVID-19 precautionary measures and to ensure the continuity of the livelihood support that #UNWEgypt provides to refugee and Egyptian women in partnership with The National Council for Women (NCW) through the “Leadership, Empowerment, Accessibility and Protection” programme, production supplies were distributed to 80 beneficiaries to support them in the production of 100,000 face masks and 4,000 crochet ear savers. The distribution of the production supplies took place on 30 August 2020 at NCW’s Giza branch. To ensure the protection of the beneficiaries, they will work from their homes on the requested products for 15 days and then handover the production outputs to the programme’s production unit to be sterilized before distribution. The “Leadership, Empowerment, Accessibility and Protection” programme is implemented by #UNWEgypt in partnership with the المجلس القومي للمرأة & UNHCR Egypt, and is generously funded by the Government of Japan.
