كما أشاد السيد الرئيس بنشاط شركة تويوتا تسوشو الممتد في مصر علي مدار عشرات السنين، مشيراً سيادته إلى وجود العديد من الفرص للتوسع في أنشطتها، لاسيما في ضوء المشروعات القومية التي تدشنها وتنفذها مصر، مثل مشروع تنمية محور قناة السويس وما سيضمه من مناطق صناعية ومراكز لوجستية، بالإضافة إلى العديد من مشروعات البنية التحتية، خاصةً فى قطاع الطاقة التقليدية والمتجددة، فضلاً عن الإجراءات التي يتم اتخاذها لجذب الاستثمار وتيسير إجراءاته.

وأضاف السفير بسام راضي أن السيد “كاشيتاني” استعرض خلال اللقاء المشروعات التي تدرس شركة تويوتا تسوشو تنفيذها في مصر خلال المرحلة المقبلة، خاصةً في ظل اعتزام الشركة العمل على الاستفادة من الفرص الواعدة التي يتيحها الاقتصاد المصري من خلال العديد من المشروعات التنموية التي يتم طرحها.

كما نوه السيد “كاشيتاني” إلى أنه سيواصل التشاور والتنسيق مع الجانب المصري خلال المرحلة المقبلة من أجل تنفيذ مشروعات الشركة في مصر، واستطلاع الفرص المتاحة للتوسع في أنشطتها.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met at his residence in Osaka, Japan, with President and Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Mr. Ichiro Kashitani. Toyota Tsusho is the trading arm of the Toyota Group, one of the largest Japanese companies in the world.

President El Sisi underscored Japan’s importance as a strategic partner of Egypt. The President asserted that Egypt possesses the necessary capabilities to represent a pivotal aspect for all Japanese industries.President El Sisi stressed that Egypt could be their access point and gateway into various markets in Africa, the Middle East and Europe, primarily for Japan’s car industry, capitalizing on the free trade area agreements Egypt shares with these countries.

President El Sisi lauded Toyota Tsusho’s activities over tens of years. He emphasized that there are numerous opportunities to expand the company’s activities, notably in light of the mega national projects currently being implemented in Egypt, including the Suez Canal Area Development Project, which encompasses industrial zones and logistics hubs. The President also pointed out a multitude of infrastructure projects, primarily in the conventional and renewable energy sector, in addition to measures undertaken to attract more investments and streamline their procedures.

Mr. Kashitani reviewed projects which Toyota Tsusho is currently studying to implement in Egypt over the coming period, particularly in light of the company’s decision to benefit from the promising opportunities offered by the Egyptian economy in a number of developmental projects.

The President and Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Tsusho Corporation noted that he will continue consultations and coordination with the Egyptian side in the coming period so as to implement the company’s projects in Egypt and explore the opportunities offered to expand its activities.
